The hunt is on

Dress Reformation Clay, Sweater Zara (similar here) Boots Zara

This is the sweater I devoted an entire post to a while back (hunting), it truly does feel way more expensive than it actually was.  I promise to lay off the studded booties in future posts and get a little more creative… I just got slightly obsessed for a couple weeks.  Fresh footwear to come in future posts.

dress Reformation “Clay”, shoes Zara, leather jacket Improvd

These pictures were taken on the gorgeous Oregon Coast and it just happened to be freezing and raining that day. The Reformation has quickly become one of my favorite brands… they use vintage materials to make fabulous clothing. This Clay dress is incredibly versatile and very flattering. I bought this leather jacket of Ebay last year and it fits like a dream, Improvd is like a more affordable version of Rick Owens or Helmut Lang. After looking through my last few posts I’ve decided that I have an addiction to anything black.

Winter Shorts

Top Zara, Shorts Alice and Olivia, tights Uniqlo, boots Zara Studded, belt vintage

I almost got rid of these shorts years ago and I am so happy that I held onto them… I absolutely love shorts in the winter with tights.  I wore this same shirt in cream a while back and the lace shoulders just seem to give the perfect feminine touch to any outfit.  My only wish is to find more winter shorts in black and gray.

In Theory

sweater Theory “Lileen”, pants Helmut Lang stretch leather leggings, belt Alzare, shoes Alexander Wang Liya suede pump (leather style here)

Cobalt blue is one of the very few colors I wear other than neutrals and I absolutely adore this sweater from Theory.  I have worn it so much already this season that its already begun pilling and I just bought it last month.  The pants are a must for any wardrobe and I know the price is steep but I got mine on the sale rack at the end of last season and I suggest keeping your eyes peeled on ebay or the sale rack.  Nobody makes a better fitting and more flattering pair of leather leggings than Helmut Lang.  They are so buttery soft and look good with basically anything from a silk tank to a cashmere sweater to a casual button down shirt.  Needless to say they are one of the best purchases I have ever made.
